This more complex cocktail requires 1 1/2 oz light rum, 1 tbsp triple sec, 1 1/2 oz lime juice, 1 tsp sugar, 1 cherry and 1 cup crushed ice. Except the cherry, combine all ingredients and blend them for 5 seconds in a blender. Pour the mixture into a champagne glass and top with the cherry.
