The game was tested in schools but it never really took off. Teachers wanted more choices and students preferred learning with their classmates instead of playing on their own. That moment led to a restart, keeping a few of the cartoon monsters as avatars and focusing on something that truly helped classrooms.

Out of that shift came Quizizz, a tool that quickly spread from teacher to teacher. Educators asked for more features, like a homework mode so students could redo assignments at home.
